In order to be eligible for a Tier 2 (General) Visa you must have:

• a Certificate of Sponsorship reference number

• a salary of £20,800 or more

• the required level of English

• A job offer from a UK employer who holds a sponsorship licence

• You must meet the English language requirement (Level B1)

• Must provide criminal record and valid TB certificate (if applicable)

• You must also have £945 in savings to show you can support yourself and this must be in your bank account for 90 days before you apply, unless you’re exempt.
